Not to mention the crisp, clean air at the condo's 8300 foot elevation, the rustling pine trees that sound like a waterfall, blue skies with occasional puffy white clouds, Ever what is underneath the snow on your favorite ski run? Did you know that the Sherwins (the mountains south of the condo) are deep red and purple in color with belts of lush green meadows? This is just one of the many post ski-season surprises waiting for you. Regardless of the season, expect to see spectacular sun rises & sun sets. Plan to visit between half to full moons - the moon brightens Mammoth almost like streetlights. Tamrack Lodge offers winter-time, romantic, moonlit cross country ski tours - you don't even need a flash light for most of the tour! |
